Things to do near Glen Ridge

• Explore Downtown Montclair – Just a few minutes away, Montclair has a lively mix of shops and restaurants. It’s one of our favorite places to spend an afternoon.

  • Stop by Montclair Book Center, a cozy independent bookstore we love.

  • Pop into our favorite antique stores: Montclair Antique Center and Jerry's Antiques and Estate Sales.

  • Grab a snack at Tous Les Jours to fuel your exploring.

• Go on a hike – If you’re looking for fresh air and some time in nature, there are several beautiful trails nearby.

  • Only a 10-minute drive from the venue, Eagle Rock Reservation has a few shorter hikes and a view of the NYC skyline.

  • About a 40-minute drive north in Mahwah, NJ, you’ll find Ramapo Valley County Reservation. For a longer hike (about 1.5–2 hours), try the Vista Loop Trail (map). There are also plenty of shorter trails if you’d prefer something more casual.
