Lesly and Will met in 2022 over lunch at the Spanish Pavilion, followed by rollerskating in Branch Brook Park. At the time, Lesly was studying to become a nurse, and Will was working as a graphic designer in New York.

They quickly discovered how much they valued the same things: kindness, curiosity, and time spent simply enjoying life’s quieter moments. Lesly poured herself into her studies and passed her nursing exam, while Will took on a new role at a larger design agency. Their bond deepened through shared experiences — early trips to Vermont and Canada, hikes, late-night conversations, and antique store treasure hunts (where they rarely found anything but loved the search). They continue to forget to bring Lesly’s nursing masks for the dust.

Lesly, now a cardiac telemetry nurse, is generous, loving, and always thinking of others. She’s also strong and unafraid to speak up when it matters — whether for herself or the people she cares about. Will admires her deeply, and his family quickly did too. She’s grown close with his parents, and the two now share the car passed down from Will’s grandmother, Grosse.

Will’s a designer with a soft spot for modernist logos, offbeat furniture like Umbo (Google it), and design objects. Lesly may not always understand his design rabbit holes, but she’s always supportive. Together, they’ve built something that feels like home — full of shared meals, national park adventures, and the kind of everyday moments that make life meaningful. Next up: Glacier National Park and the start of the next chapter, side by side.
